Operator Workplaces, Separated from the Computers

KVM-over-IP puts the computers in a protected equipment room and keeps video, USB and audio responsive at the operator’s desk, from a single Full HD workstation to 4K control-room matrices. SAT Solutions is partnering with KVM Development & Support GmbH (Baden, Austria), which continues the proven kvm-tec product lines, to bring these systems to industrial and critical operations in Thailand.

Why KVM-over-IP?
- Protect Your PCs — Move computers out of dust, heat and noise into a controlled room while operators work at quiet, ergonomic desks
- Extend & Route — Carry video, USB and audio over CATx copper or fiber, as a direct link or through networked matrix switching
- Start Small, Scale Up — Begin point-to-point and grow into a centrally managed matrix of up to 1,000 endpoints (Full HD) or 2,000 (4K)
- Real-Time Response — Full HD 1920×1200 @ 60 Hz with < 1.38 ms latency; 4K with < 0.47 ms
- Built for Industrial Use — 24 V industrial focus, fanless compact enclosures, rack-integrable, USB 2.0 up to 480 Mbit/s
Product Portfolio

| PRODUCT LINE | RESOLUTION | SCALE | BEST FOR |
|---|---|---|---|
| ECOsmart | Full HD, 1920×1200 @ 60 Hz | Point-to-point / matrix, CATx | Zero rack space: dongle-format local unit (40×20×95 mm), USB-powered |
| EASYLINE | Full HD | Up to 56 endpoints, copper or fiber | Simple matrix entry, no external Switching Manager |
| FLEXLINE (SmartFLEX, MasterFLEX) | Full HD | Up to 100 endpoints | Growing matrices; single/dual video, audio, copper or fiber |
| FLEXLINE (MaxFLEX, USBFLEX, IndustryFLEX) | Full HD | Up to 1,000 endpoints | Large matrices; RS232, USB sharing, industrial variants |
| media4Kconnect | 4096×2160 @ 60 Hz, 5K ultrawide | Up to 2,000 endpoints, single fiber | High-end 4K, < 0.47 ms, optional HDR / redundancy |
| SCALABLELINE | 4K multiview | Up to 64 sources | Multiview, picture-in-picture, videowalls |
Copper (CATx) suits in-building runs; fiber suits long distances and electrically challenging areas. Always confirm distances and interfaces against the data sheet of the exact part number.
Featured: EASYLINE — Simple, Lean Full HD KVM Matrix
EASYLINE makes everyday KVM-over-IP projects easier: compact hardware, standard network components, Full HD, USB 2.0, integrated audio and practical switching functions. It delivers extension and matrix switching for up to 56 endpoints without an external Switching Manager, which suits control rooms, production desks and industrial workstations.

- 6 models — SmartEASY (single/dual copper) and MasterEASY (single/dual, copper or fiber, with analog audio and redundant power/link)
- 2 deployment modes — point-to-point, or matrix switching of up to 56 endpoints
- 3 smart functions — Front Bridging, Back Bridging and Easy Cross Move (below)
Front Bridging — One Operator, Two PCs

Two local extenders are bridged to one remote dual extender. The operator sees both PCs at the same time on two monitors and switches control by hotkey or mouse movement. No external KVM switch and no network switch are needed: 3 units and 2 cables.
- Easy Cross Move — control both PCs with a single keyboard and mouse by moving the cursor across screens
- Best fit: Main + Backup PC setups that need redundancy, such as broadcast and industrial automation

| ONE OPERATOR, TWO PCs | TRADITIONAL | KVM MATRIX | FRONT BRIDGING |
|---|---|---|---|
| Devices | 2 TX + 2 RX + KVM switch | 2 TX + 1 RX + network switch | 2 TX + 1 dual RX |
| Cabling | High | Medium | Low |
| View both PCs at once | No | No | Yes |
Back Bridging — One PC, Two Locations

One local dual extender is shared by two remote single extenders, so the same PC can be monitored and controlled from two places:
| LOCATION 1 | LOCATION 2 | WHY SHARE THE SAME PC? |
|---|---|---|
| Production floor | Control room | Operators work locally while the control room can monitor and take over |
| Operator station | Engineering station | Engineers configure, commission and troubleshoot the same PC |
| Equipment site | Service center | Remote service engineers access the PC for maintenance |
KVM-over-IP + Leonton Industrial Network Switches
KVM Development matrices run on standard network infrastructure. Paired with SAT’s Leonton industrial network switches that support IGMP snooping, they form a compact, cost-effective KVM matrix. PoE-capable KVM versions are available, and fiber and copper versions can be mixed in the same system.
Typical Applications

| ENVIRONMENT | TYPICAL USE CASES |
|---|---|
| Control Rooms | Central sources, responsive operator access, scalable switching |
| Industry & Process Plants | Protect PCs from dust, heat and harsh production areas; share HMI or engineering PCs between plant floor and control room |
| Broadcast & Media | Quiet production spaces; precise video / USB / audio workflows; main + backup PC operation |
| Critical Infrastructure | Availability, control and physical separation of IT assets |
| Healthcare | Centralized systems and clean operator environments |
| IT & Integration | Flexible infrastructure that grows from direct links to full matrices |
